NYA provided the seismic retrofit of this existing 5-story concrete frame building on the UCLA campus. Seismic strengthening was primarily achieved with Fiber-Reinforced-Polymer in order to minimize architectural impact, particularly at columns where specialized detailing was utilized in order to minimize impact to the architectural exterior stonework facade.
