In 2000, NYA provided retrofit services during the first major renovation to Dodger Stadium since this Los Angeles landmark opened in 1962. Working with HKS, and completed during one brief off-season, the stadium was structurally upgraded to meet current seismic code. New mechanical, electrical, and fire life-safety infrastructure were also integrated into this facility to accommodate the added amenities. From 2005-2008, existing fifth level improvements (Club Level) were demolished and reconfigured to house a new restaurant, 35 private luxury suites and a complete business center. The radio and television broadcast booth facilities were also completely renovated. At the field level, new seats were added along each baseline and directly behind home plate. Access to the exclusive “Dugout” behind home plate is through a new members-only restaurant, The Dugout Club.

During five months in the 2012-2013 off season for its 50th anniversary, Dodger Stadium received multiple upgrades by NYA including ten new retail/restroom buildings, excavation of on-grade seating to double the clubhouse space, replacement of the dugouts, fifteen new hanging MEP platforms, and a new DWP building. Most new structures had to straddle the boundary of the stadium and sit partially on the existing elevated deck as well as partially on grade. With no construction access to the void below for strengthening the existing stadium slabs, the new structures were designed to span to the stadium columns, and be installed entirely from above.
