Century City Hospital Seismic Upgrade

Century City Hospital site features two buildings and a parking structure. NYA provided SPC-2 and NPC-2 upgrades to the Main Hospital building and central plant utilizing new concrete shear walls and strengthening of the existing roof diaphragm, respectively.
In July 2010, an evaluation and proposed upgrade report was developed by NYA and submitted to OSHPD Sacramento for review. OSHP issued acceptance of the proposed upgrade for HAZUS SPC-2 compliance. The seismic upgrade project itself was permitted in March 2011. Construction of the upgrade was completed in March 2014.
In October 2010, an evaluation and proposed upgrade report for the Central Plant was developed by NYA and submitted to OSPHD for review, which was eventually approved. NYA developed Construction Documents for the project, which was permitted in November of 2011. Construction was completed in February 2014.
