Project Details:
NYA completed a structural seismic and hurricane risk evaluation for the Hilton in Los Cabos, Mexico.
Solution:
The seismic and wind characteristics of the building were determined by a site evaluation of the existing structure, three dimensional computer modeling of the multiple building "blocks" and by reviewing the existing drawings. The multi-tiered review and analysis contributed to NYA’s understanding of the building's expected earthquake performance and vulnerability to damage.
